Vincent has been part of the Kölsch Crew since August 2025 and leads tours in German and English. As a native of Cologne, he loves accompanying guests through the Old Town, telling stories, and sharing the Kölsch zest for life. About Vincent

Where are You from?

I am from Cologne with Polish roots.

How Did You get into Doing Beer House Tours in Cologne?

I started doing beer house tours in Cologne because I simply have a great passion for Kölsch culture and Kölsch itself. I love meeting people from all over the world, showing them the unique features of our city, and sharing the typical Rhenish joy of life. Plus, I love to talk, and what’s better than drinking Kölsch in beer houses while sharing interesting stories about Cologne as you stroll through the Old Town together?

Why Do You Enjoy Guiding People through Cologne’s Beer Houses so much?

Cologne has a long and exciting history to tell – and that is also reflected in our unique beer culture. Not only is Kölsch itself special, but also everything that comes with it: the food, the atmosphere in the beer houses, the service provided by the Köbes, and the Kölsch way of life you experience.

Which Anecdote or Story Do You Particularly like to Tell?

My favorite story to tell is about the Schmitz Column by Jupp Engels. It’s not only typically Kölsch but also completely trivial. But it’s best to see for yourselves – it’s worth it!

What Makes Cologne Special for You?

The best thing about Cologne is its people – warm, open, and always up for a good time. In Cologne, you’re never alone, and a few Kölsch often quickly lead to new friendships.

What Absolutely Must You See in Cologne (besides the Cathedral)?

The Old Town is simply something special – that’s why we love taking you on a tour.

Fun Fact about You

I love hip-hop – or music in general, actually. And you can see that in my style: the most important thing, of course, are the sneakers!
